Our Trustees

Louis Turner

A former trustee of Chatham House (the Royal Institute of International Affairs) and presently Acting Treasurer of the Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society, Louis brings a wealth of experience to the Foundation.

He previously served on the London Amateur Rugby League committee and was recipient of the Bob Brown Award for services to the game in the capital.

Christian Boulton

Bringing experience in both media and higher education, Christian combines his position as Trustee of the Foundation with his role as an ambassador for the Cornwall RLFC club.

A published author and latterly a lecturer in broadcasting, he has also been a councillor and primary school governor.

Chris Latham

A business improvement consultant to the engineering industry by trade, Chris has a dual-code rugby background having played for the likes of Oxford University RL and St. Helens RUFC.

He has a particular interest in sports and community enterprises, and has previously volunteered for the Children’s Sailing Trust as an instructor.

John Beach

A pioneer of the game in the far South West, John was co-founder of the Cornish Rebels and was named the RFL’s ‘Volunteer of the Year’ in 2014.

A former Saddleworth Rangers junior, he is also General Manager of Cornwall RLFC having worked tirelessly to establish professional Rugby League in the Duchy for over a decade.
